Reflection:Wet Cement
Wet Cement
VALUES: In the clip Wet Cement the older man wasn't mad at the little boy despite him walking on the wet cement.
The older man had the patience to go over the cement where the little boy had stepted and ruined.
The little boy was obviously is young and didn't know any better.
This man older man in this clip had a startled kind of face when he had noticed what mess has been created after his hard work.
MESSAGE: What I believe to find the message to the short film
" Wet Cement " is that no matter what the situation is you must have patience with whomever
especially considering the fact that this was a little boy who didn't know any better. In today's
society we're easily upset and angry in a situation such as this because you put all your hard work and effort into a task and for someone to come along and ruin what I've created would be awfully devasting although the man wasn't so resentful and this is a trait one can admire.
ACTIONS: The actions in this short clip varied from probably upset to forgiving. The man was upset, but he didn't let the fact that his hard work was ruined get in the way of forgiving. It's the triumph of a heart that makes all and forgives all,and this was clearly shown.
TECHNICS: The technics in this clip were greatly used and performed the whole outcome to
the plot suited the theme and also the message the production and directors of Values were aimming
for. I thought it was great of them to have an older man as the protagonist and the little boy as the antagonist. Also how the directors of Values used your typical little boy next door. I believe the camera did well with capturing both characters reactions.
My Introduction
This is student Jessica Hernandez's introduction to the class.
"Premire Pro trouble with Jayy"
While my wonderful partner Joceyln MacAbee and I worked together on our first Teledramtic Art assignment using Premire Pro. We faced serval challenges that I feel without my partner Jayy (also known as Joceylnn)I would have never been able to accomplish as smoothly. The biggest promblem we had was uploading the clip of fellow student Jessica Hernandez on to my blooger account. For some reason it didn't appear with the video instead it appeared with the HTML code. I was horrifed that we would have to start all over again! Shortly after worrying horribly we decided to ask for help from the one and only Dr. Achterman. He had told us why it wasn't uploading properly on my account the reason why of course was because Jayy and I had "Compose" the video on to my blogg rather then hitting "Edit HTML". After sloving that Jayy and I felt this warming sensation of relief and success.
